The meaning of a business search is a exhaustive listing of enrolled businesses. The mission of a business search is to help the searcher find their objective, usually a business’s service or product. A business search is constructed with local people in mind, helping them to find the best business or service in their city. All business searches are a combination of data bases that house thousands if not millions of national or local business listings.

A business search is similar to a business search directory or search engine although it differs quite a bit. Some of the major differences are a search engine is a program that searches a document for a named keyword and coming up with a list of documents where the key phrase was found. Even though a search engine is simply a general class program, the terminology is mostly used to convey systems like Google, Yahoo as well as others.

Regularly, a search engine works by sending an Internet robot called a spider to crawl a website to bring back as many documents as achievable. Another program, called an indexer, then reads these records and generates an index based on the words enclosed in each document. Each search engine uses a proprietary algorithm to produce its indices such that, optimally, only useful results are brought back for each query.

A search directory on the other hand is used when you are looking for knowledge on the Internet that is easily classified and searched by browsing in a directory. A search directory is similar to a search engine in that they each put together web sites in a database. The difference is that webpage’s are directly submitted into it and the submitted webpage’s are investigated by humans instead of being spidered. Then the webpage is cataloged and in most cases alphabetized. Also most directory listings will start with numbers then proceed to A through Z.

If you do a search on the search engine Google for the keyword “business search” you will find four hundred and eighteen million search results. Most of these search results are for Internet directories and business directories. However, there are quite a few true business search website’s.

One of the advantages that a local business search has is, that if you do a search for a business that you have a demand for, you will locate find exactly what you are looking for. If you live in Walla Walla, Wa and you want Chinese noodles and you do a search in a business search directory, you will be taken to a page that has the scoop about restaurants that offer the food you want. Or if you need brakes for your car you’ll type Fl, brakes and up will pop a page with your local muffler and brake specialist.

For myself like the idea a business search directory much better than a search engine for finding a local business. It seems that when I do a search on a major search engine for a local business, the search results are most of the time are not what I was longing for. However, when I use my preferred business search directory I am sure that I will find the business that I was expecting.

What does Planet Buzz online directory, hybrid cars and car parts have in common? They’re both next generation, green solutions in their particular industries.

Planet Buzz

Using the PlanetBuzz business search, rather than the out-of-date Yellow Pages, is a greener way to find the local business listings you need.

Consider the natural resources it takes to create five hundred million Yellow directories (according to YellowPagesGoesGreen.org):

• 19-million trees are harvested
• 1.6-billion pounds of paper are used in the printing process
• 7.2-million barrels of oil used in processing, not including the gas used by sales reps driving around selling ads and delivering the phone books to your doorstep
• 268,000 cubic yards of landfill are taken up by old Yellow Pages
• 3.2-billion kilowatt hours of energy are consumed

To make matters worse, many times a year, new Yellow Page directories must be re-created to include new companies and revise out-dated companies. But with Planetbuzz.com, the Internet business directory, business owners can update their own business information when they need to – in real time. Think of all the trees we could save if we stopped the Yellow Pages madness!Maybe you needed to find an auto parts store close to where you live or work. Planet Buzz online search provide fresh, dynamic content – including video, photos and web links – updated in real-time.
Hybrid Auto Parts

What else can we do to help clean up the planet and reduce the countries dependence on foreign oil? Think about joining the ranks of hybrid car owners!

The predictions are hybrid car sales in North America will double over the next three years, according to R.L. Polk & Co., a leading auto industry market research firm. Hybrid sales in the America, as tracked by the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), have grown from 9,367 in 2000 to 324,318 in 2007. The hybrid automobile and auto parts industries are currently moving from a fad to main stay in the Unites States auto market.

With the approval hybrid vehicles Growing each day, a new breed of car and driver are migrating into the mainstream. Most hybrid car drivers say they bought their hybrid because of the environment as an alternative green vehicle. But for many,While some have, that tech-geek mentality and the need for speed causes them to upgrade enhance their automobile.

To indulge this niche market, car part manufactures are inventing hybrid auto parts that are all about fuel economy, increase performance and improve both torque and steering.

Hybrid car owners who want to force more mileage per gallon of gas can buy a high-tech auto part that hooks into the hybrid on board computer system to optimize gas mileage. If you are a hot-rodder type, you can lower or trick out your hybrid. And for people that like to drive a high-end car, hybrid innovative new auto parts developed for the Toyota Prius, like front and rear sway bars and a strut tower brace, give the hybrid’s handling and body rigidity for a nicer ride.

As demand continues to grow, hybrid car aficionados should be able to buy all these next generation auto parts and more at their local auto parts store. Remember, whether you’re looking for new auto parts, or used auto parts, the Planet Buzz search directory is the fastest, easiest and most green way to find the auto parts business you need.

From the beginning in our union’s nation’s history the rummage sale has been one of the most popular ways of getting money for religious organizations, and not for profit organizations. In the past they have been great money makers.

Just in case you are wondering, a bake sale is a way to make money where baked goods such as cupcakes and cookies are sold. A bake sale is usually held by small, not for profit organizations, such as clubs, school groups and Churches. A bake sale most often is set up around an area of pedestrian traffic, such as a church parking lot or at a busy intersection near a shopping center.

A rummage sale is an casual, occasionally scheduled marketplace of pre-owned household goods, typically sold by a few families, church or charitable organization to raise money. In some communities there are predetermined days every year in which rummage sales are established, so that people don’t have to get the required permits or collect sales tax. In some municipalities like (Beverly Hills, California) they require that the churches and organizations apply and paid for a garage sale or rummage sale permit, even with that, churches or organization can only hold their rummage sale or yard sales in the back of their homes or business.

Despite the insubstantial funds that can be made from rummage sales and bake sale, a rummage sale or bake sale is hard work. I can remember a long time ago, enlisting to contribute some baked goods and man a table for my local churches bake sale to raised money for a new daycare wing, to be added on to the church.

It cost about $50.00 for the ingredients to bake the brownies, it took us about an hour and a half to bake them and we sat at the bake sale booth for a good six hours. The total take at my booth for the day was one hundres and fifty dollars. If you just look at the material cost I tripled my money for my church. However, the real story is, if you take into account the labor, the time it took to bake the baked goods and the time I spent sitting at the table selling them, it was a loss. It was a blessing that I could bring about a little money for my church but I wish I could have done more

What if there was some other way to muster up a lot of money for your Church or Non Profit Organization?

What if there was a way to earn Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars for your Church?

What if there was an organization who’s founder was strong Christian believer, who’s passion was to support Churches around the world and help them grow and become financially independent?

There is, the organization is PlanetBuzz.com. The Program is The Multiplied Giving Program, and the individual behind it all is Bernie Petrescue the Founder and President of PlanetBuzz, local listings that helps people find business at a local level.

The most important thing you read about in the World report is economic stimulus. Here is a positive note, according to the National Arbor Day Foundation – Trees can be a stimulus to economic development, attracting new business and tourism. Commercial retail areas are more attractive to shoppers, apartments rent more quickly, tenants stay longer, and space in a wooded setting is more valuable to sell or rent.

Forty trees remove 80 pounds of air pollutants annually.

Trees can keep us cooler in the summer and save us ten million dollars a year in energy costs. Trees also clean up air pollutants and save us millions in air pollution cleanup. Trees also can also save us millions of dollars annually in storm water runoff costs; Four million trees save $14 million dollars in annual storm water runoff costs.

USDA Forest Service states, the planting of trees means improved water quality, resulting in less runoff and erosion. This allows more recharging of the ground water supply. Wooded areas help prevent the transport of sediment and chemicals into streams.

Here is an alarming bit of information.

We are cutting down 24 million metric tons of trees for paper production every Year. According to one estimate, the average tree weighs 680 kg, or 0.68 tons. So this means that an estimated 16.32 million trees are destroyed for paper production in the US each year.

One of the largest wasteful paper products is the phone directory. It is said that the Manhattan phonebook alone passed the 1,000,000 mark in 1921. Within five years, it grew six fold again and required a group of 500 deliverymen, more than 500 rail-car loads of paper, and 100 tons of binding glue. And that’s just in Manhattan.

In Portland, Ore., a company that produces telephone directories tipped the scales at 10.5 pounds per pair, consumed the equivalent of 49,779 trees, and could be stacked nearly 12 miles high into the air. And that’s only one of several directories that Portlanders get. On a national level, the figures become mind blowing. If we assign the not-terribly-scientific figure of three pounds to the average phonebook, then the 615 million volumes produced last year come out to 1 million tons of directories.

Some figures show that phonebooks and yellow pages make up almost ten percent of waste at the dump.

The impact would be Phenomenal if everyone stopped using phonebooks and yellow pages.

What? Stop using a phonebook! How am I suppose to find a phone number or address to my barber or beauty salon? Not to worry, in today’s home computing, internet environment there is a green solution. I have discovered an ecologically helpful and user friendly online search directory called PlanetBuzz. With over twenty million business listings and growing every day planetbuzz.com is absolutely the best interactive business directory online.

If you are worried about our economy and our environment, one way to help is to not use and opt-out from receiving old out-dated and environmentally unfriendly phone directories.

For information on how opt-out from receiving the phone book and yellow pages call:

AT&T/Yellow Pages (formerly SBC and Bell South): 1.800.792.2665

Verizon (Idearc): 1.800.888.8448
